The Bensalem Township Board of School Directors at their December 16, 2025 meeting approved the appointment of Mr. Borislav Ben to the position of Principal at Russell C. Struble Elementary School. Mr. Ben will succeed Mrs. Lana Judy, who retired on January 23 after 18 years of dedicated leadership and commitment to the Struble community.

Kindergarten/First Grade Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will begin on January 26.

Bensalem Township School District is pleased to offer property tax relief of up to $1,050 for our Senior Citizens to help offset the high cost of living for those on fixed incomes.

On Saturday, January 17, 2026, ten former Bensalem High School athletes were recognized for demonstrating athletic excellence and achieving outstanding careers at BHS. Additionally, we recognized one of our most successful coaches in school history, as well as a member of the Bensalem community who has dedicated countless hours to supporting our high school athletics programs.

January is “School Director Recognition Month” in Pennsylvania. We salute our nine elected school board members who volunteer their time to serve Bensalem students, teachers, and staff.

Bensalem Township School District is delighted to announce that Bensalem High School teacher, Mrs. Chelsea Root, is the first ever recipient of the $1000 NextUp Transition Program Scholarship. Mrs. Root’s proposal involved the purchase and use of 24-hour pick-up lockers on the Bensalem High School campus. This will allow Mrs. Root and the OWLS Transition program team the ability to extend their student led businesses to members of the Bensalem community.
