The Bensalem Education Foundation (BEF) recently awarded nine grants to schools across Bensalem Township School District, totaling $4,500. BEF is a 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations and supports the purpose of improving teaching and learning in Bensalem through innovative educational initiatives. Grants are awarded through an application process that occurs once each year in the spring. The following grant recipients were shared by BEF Co-Presidents, Bill Lewis and CJ Mills:

BTSD students attended the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science State Competition held from May 17 through May 21, 2024 at Penn State University, State College. Thousands of students from all over Pennsylvania presented their scientific research at this annual competition. These projects are a culmination of months of hard work and dedication.

We are delighted to announce that BHS senior, Oluseyi Oduntan is being recognized by the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) and InnerView in the seventh Annual Community Service Impact Awards!

Congratulations to the 45 Bensalem High School students who qualified to participate in the DECA State competition in Hershey, February 21-23.

Bensalem High School Junior Ethan Zhao, member of the Bensalem High School robotics team The Fightin’ Robotic Owls, was named a Dean’s List Finalist last weekend at FIRST Mid-Atlantic District Championships.

Bensalem High School (BHS) has amazing educators doing wonderful things; inspiring both students and colleagues alike. The BHS Teacher of the Year Award is a teacher-led initiative meant to acknowledge and recognize the amazing educators at Bensalem High School.

Congratulations to the 27 BHS musicians and our 16 middle school musicians who successfully auditioned and participated in the 2024 BCMEA (Bucks County Music Educators Association) music ensembles. The festival was held last weekend at Pennridge High School.
