School District Appoints New High School Assistant Principal The Bensalem Township Board of School Directors at their August 7, 2024 meeting approved the appointment of Molly Mangan to the position of 11th grade Assistant Principal at Bensalem High School.
District Appoints New Elementary School Assistant Principal The Bensalem Township Board of School Directors at their August 7, 2024 meeting approved the appointment of Borislav Ben to the position of Assistant Principal at Belmont Hills and Cornwells Elementary Schools.
School District Names Per Principal at BHS Earlier this year, the Bensalem Township Board of School Directors approved the appointment of Geoffrey Per to the position of high school acting principal effective April 10th. Mr. Per replaced Frank Flanagan who resigned in April. In May, Per was named principal of Bensalem High School effective May 29th.

Education Foundation Announces Grant Awards The Bensalem Education Foundation (BEF) recently awarded nine grants to schools across Bensalem Township School District, totaling $4,500. BEF is a 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations and supports the purpose of improving teaching and learning in Bensalem through innovative educational initiatives. Grants are awarded through an application process that occurs once each year in the spring. The following grant recipients were shared by BEF Co-Presidents, Bill Lewis and CJ Mills:
Bensalem Scientists Attend PJAS State Competition BTSD students attended the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science State Competition held from May 17 through May 21, 2024 at Penn State University, State College. Thousands of students from all over Pennsylvania presented their scientific research at this annual competition. These projects are a culmination of months of hard work and dedication.
