Bensalem H.S. Welcomes U.S. Navy & Marine Corps October 10th was a great morning at Bensalem High School! As part of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps 250th birthday celebration, we hosted a wonderful event. Four military helicopters landed on the practice football field for our students, staff and special guests to see. It was so exciting to see the fast-rope demonstration as four active-duty members descended a thick rope allowing them to deploy from the helicopter with the aircraft still in the air.
2026 National Merit Scholarship Commended Students Bensalem High School seniors Lucas Ferrandez and Megh Patel have been named “Commended Students” in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, was presented to these scholastically talented seniors.

Bensalem School District Supports Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with Nearly $10,000 Donation Through Benefits That Benefit Children Bensalem School District and its employees are making a meaningful impact on the children of the Greater Philadelphia area while setting an example for other school districts. Bensalem School District and its employees have proudly become Benefits That Benefit Children Champions. Earlier this week, representatives from the school district presented a donation to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in the amount of $9,930.

Pre-Schoolers Invited to BHS Free Preschool Program! The preschool program is part of Bensalem High School's Child Development classes. The high school students have the opportunity to experience and discover the stages of development in young children, while the preschool students have the opportunity to develop their kindergarten readiness skills, which includes building their literacy and social skills.
BHS Students Excel at FBLA Nationals Two Bensalem High School members of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) qualified to attend the FBLA National Competition at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA from June 27 to July 3. This is the first time BHS students have attended the FBLA National Leadership Conference.
Bensalem High School Marine Corps Instructor Named Teacher of the Year Bensalem Township School District is delighted to announce that Bensalem High School Leadership Studies - Marine Instructor, Master Sergeant Shawn Worthen will be recognized as the Marine Corps JROTC Instructor of the Year for the past school year.
