Resources For Families

Parents and Caregivers are the most valuable contributors to good attendance for their students. Setting expectations for being at school every day is as important as monitoring student's academic progress. Here are some ideas from the Attendance Works website:
- Please ensure that getting to school every day and on time is a priority
- Set up regular bedtime and morning routine
- Set out clothes and school bag the night before
- Develop back up plans for getting to school if something comes up - ask family members, friends for help.
- Do your best to ensure that your students eat healthy foods, stay hydrated, exercise, and get plenty of sleep.
- Talk to school staff about any barriers that might keep your students from attending
