New Assistant Principal at Shafer Middle School The Bensalem Township Board of School Directors at their September 28, 2022 meeting approved the appointment of Joseph Crane to the position of Assistant Principal at Robert K. Shafer Middle School. He is replacing Aqueelah Ellzy who is now the Assistant Principal at Samuel K. Faust Elementary School.
BHS Seniors Named National Merit Commended Students Bensalem High School seniors Kristen M. Clark and Jeffrey M. Ho have been named “Commended Students” in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, was presented to these scholastically talented seniors by BHS principal, Mr. Frank Flanagan.
Bensalem Student Earns Academic Honors from College Board National Recognition Programs Bensalem High School junior David Diabene has earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them stand out during the admissions process. Colleges and scholarship programs identify students awarded National African American, Hispanic, Indigenous and/or Rural/Small Town Recognition through College Board’s Student Search Service.

BTSD Hires New BHS Principal The Bensalem Township Board of School Directors at their May 24, 2022 meeting approved the appointment of Frank Flanagan to the position of high school principal. He is replacing William Ferrara who is retiring at the end of June.

Copestick to the position of Assistant Principal at Bensalem High School. She is replacing Dr. Diana Garaitonandia who will be leaving the district to join the Centennial School District.
