Kindergarten/First Grade Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will begin on January 26.

Sapphire Community Portal
Bensalem Township School District's Student Information System (SIS) is Sapphire. Sapphire Community Portal (SCP) is a tool that allows parents/guardians and students to access information from Sapphire regarding the student's classwork, grades, discipline, etc. from anywhere. Community Letter from Dr. Lee - Re:Transportation
August 28, 2025
Dear Bensalem Township School District Community,
We want to extend our sincerest apologies for the bus transportation difficulties experienced during the first few days of school. We recognize the inconvenience and concern these issues have caused for some of our students, families, and staff. Please know that we take these concerns seriously and are actively working with our transportation partners to identify and resolve the root causes.
Our team has already implemented several corrective measures, including:
• Deploying additional staff to assist with coordination, communication, and oversight.
We are committed to ensuring that our students have safe, reliable transportation to and from school. Your patience and understanding during this time mean a great deal to us, and we appreciate the feedback many of you have shared.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these challenges. Our transportation team will be working on Friday, August 29, Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31 from 8–11 AM to resolve any outstanding issues.

IMPORTANT
PLEASE NOTE: As of 8:36 PM on 8/22, all bus bus routes have been updated and are available for all students in Sapphire. They are also in the Edulog Parent Portal App.
Bus information is now available in SCP with the exception of kindergarten students and students new to the district. We are working to diligently to have their information in SCP by the noon today (8/22).

Important Information for 2025-2026 Kindergarten Families
Welcome to Kindergarten! We hope you and your future Kindergarten student are enjoying the summer. As we get ready for the first days of Kindergarten, we will be holding a Kindergarten screener. The purpose of a Kindergarten screening is not to test how much your child knows; but, rather it is to assess where your child is with their Kindergarten readiness skills. This will allow their teacher time to plan how to best support your child starting on the very first day of school. Your child will spend approximately 10 minutes with a teacher to complete the kindergarten screening.
All screenings will take place at Valley Elementary School, 3100 Donallen Drive, Bensalem, PA.
