Welcome & Important Updates

Welcome to the

Bensalem Township School District

Food Services Department

Important Information
Grab-and-Go meal pick-ups will take place Monday through Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., outside of the schools at: Belmont, Cornwells, Faust, Rush, Struble, and Valley Elementary Schools.  Grab-and-Go meals will only be available on days when school is in session, whether students are learning in hybrid and/or remotely.  When school is not in session, there will be no meals available.
There will be no Grab-and-Go available at Shafer, Snyder, or the high school.  If you are picking up meals for your remote learner, you can pick up those meals at any of those schools (your child does not have to be assigned as their "home school" to one of those schools to pick up the meals).  As has been the practice, you must either have the child(ren) in the vehicle when picking up the meal(s), or have their ID's available.
*For hybrid learners, there will be breakfast and lunch provided in school on the days they are in-person.  For their remote learning days, you may pick up meals as stated above at one of the six elementary schools.
*No PIN number will be needed for the students to get their breakfast and/or lunches.  For the remainder of the school year, the USDA has made all meals No Charge for all students.  Also, there will be no a la carte sales until further notice.

Breakfast and Lunch will be no charge for the 2020 - 2021 school year for all students.

Parents/Guardians are still encouraged to apply for the Free or Reduced Meal Programs, if they have not already been approved for the current school year.  Participation in these programs may allow fee waivers for certain testing, such as SAT's and AP Exams.  Also, if the student is approved, their approval status carries into the first 30 school days of the next school year.

Apply at: www.SchoolCafe.com

1.) Please submit ONE (1) application per household. All of the children (including foster children) should be on the same application.
2.) Please allow a maximum of two weeks for processing.  You will be notified by mail or e-mail of your child's eligibility status.
3.) Please do not submit an application if you have received a letter stating that your child has been directly certified, otherwise an application is required to be completed each school year.
