WHAT IS THE ASVAB EXAM?
- ASVAB CEP, mostly known as a military entrance test, is much more than that! It is a comprehensive program that prepares all students for their dream job.
- ASVAB CEP aligns with ESSA which requires States to establish college-and-career-ready standards requirements supporting well-rounded educational opportunities including career awareness and exploration activities as well as postsecondary guidance.
- ASVAB CEP Post-Test Interpretation is also available to assist educators and students with test scores interpretation, review of the career exploration website, classroom activities, educational and career planning tools.
- Participating students have the freedom to explore the world of work without cost or commitment. Plus, everything you need - testing personnel, assessments, reports, planning tools, and more - is available for free!
The ASVAB CEP has three components:
· Ø The ASVAB test - A multiple aptitude test that allows students to identify their skill strengths
· Ø FYI - An interest inventory that that helps students identify their work-related interests
increasing their chances of job satisfaction
· Ø OCCU-Find - a comprehensive list of careers with relevant occupational data and a full suite of
future-oriented planning tools to help students develop an action plan to share with parents and educators
