Whether you're an elementary or middle school family or a high school one, we have something for you at the first BADGE meeting of the year!
Members of BHS National Honor Society will join us to lead some board games for our younger students, while their families can socialize and participate in an informal Q&A - this is a great opportunity to ask questions about gifted--- or anything else that has come up this new school year—and to meet other folks and learn from their questions.
Concurrently, for the older set, two of our members will lead a discussion about all things college - choosing high school courses, taking the SAT and ACT, college application tips, and financial aid. Families with high schoolers - or soon-to-be high schoolers - may find this particularly helpful, and as always, there will be plenty of time for Q&A.
Remember BADGE meetings are always free and open to any interested parent, educator, or student. You don’t need to be a member of BADGE (although we appreciate your $5 donation) or have a child identified as gifted or even live in Bensalem. All are welcome. No need to find a babysitter for this meeting. Bring a friend; make a friend who understands the joys and challenges of life with gifted—and 2e-- children.
