BHS rising junior, Jay Kamdar and rising senior, Jeet Patel attended the competition with over fourteen thousand students from across the United States. To qualify to compete at the National level, Jay and Jeet placed first in the Pennsylvania Regional and State competition.
We are delighted to announce that after 2 days of competition, Jay Kamdar placed in the top ten for Business Management. Jeet Patel (BHS FBLA Club President) competed in Computer applications. Special thanks to Jeet for his outstanding coaching and Presidential Leadership skills.
“Competing at the FBLA National Leadership Conference was an experience I’ll always cherish. Representing Bensalem High School and placing 4th nationally in Business Management was incredible—but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous the entire time. From preparing for the event to sitting in that chair waiting for my name to be called, the nerves were definitely there. Still, when they announced my placement, all the stress felt worth it. That moment made me think of everyone who helped me get there—BHS Business teacher and FBLA advisor, Mr. Miller, his wife, our chapter president Jeet Patel, and especially my mom and grandmother. I couldn’t have done it without their support, encouragement, and belief in me every step of the way. Outside of the competition, just being there with my peers and advisors made for some amazing memories. It was one of those rare experiences where you’re learning, having fun, and growing all at once. I’m proud to have represented Bensalem and thankful for everyone who helped make it happen,” said Jay.
Jeet said, “Attending FBLA Nationals was an incredible experience where I had the opportunity to compete in the Computer Applications event and represent our chapter on a national stage. I also participated in workshops and connected with students and professionals from across the country, gaining new insights into business and technology. The trip was both inspiring and educational, and I look forward to using what I’ve learned to support and grow our local chapter.”
We are incredibly proud of Jay and Jeet and the way they represented Bensalem High School and our community with confidence, pride, and outstanding character!
