The School Board Members and the District's administrators believe that public education is a fundamental part of a democratic society. We welcome community involvement and appreciate those residents who provide valuable input on matters affecting the welfare of all students.

    School Board

The School District is the local educational system that functions within the laws of Pennsylvania.

The School Board is composed of nine unpaid members who create policy and conduct the business of the School District within the laws of the State and Department of Education. The School Board appoints a non-voting secretary and treasurer.

School Board Members are elected by township residents on Election Day in November and hold office for four years.

The School Board is a policy making body whose authority is derived from state law. The administrators work within the limits of School Board policy and manage the school system.

Additional information pertaining to the Bensalem Township School District can be found on the table in the lobby of the Dorothy D. Call Administrative Center.
