The Bensalem High School football program is led by Head Coach Kevin Kelly. Before joining Bensalem in June 2011, Coach Kelly was the head coach at Conwell-Egan for nine years. Look for more information on Coach Kelly shortly.

The football program participates in the { } Suburban
One National Conference Football League. The
league is considered to be one of the best
leagues in the state. Week in and week out
the Owls battle not only some of the best
competition in the state, but in the
entire country.  Nationally ranked
opponents league rivals,
Neshaminy, Pennsbury, and North Penn,
provide a tremendous challenge for our
emerging program. In addition, state
ranked non-league opponents, George
Washington from Philadelphia, or Ridley High
School from Delaware County,  provide even
more challenges. This year we welcome back,
through league realignment, some of our local
rivalries in William Tennent, Council Rock
North and Council Rock South High Schools.
{ } Our program has approximately 100 student
athletes participating from grades nine through twelve. In addition to the varsity team, we have junior varsity, sophomore and
freshman teams. Our program includes six
days a week, four months a year in-season
commitment. For athletes
not participating in other sports
(we strongly encourage our athletes to play multiple sports), we have an off-season conditioning program which begins in
February  and runs through the  summer
months. The conditioning program includes:
 cardiovascular fitness, nutrition, weight
management, strength and power development, multi-directional speed, quickness, and flexibility improvement.

The philosophy of our program is that being great at anything is hard. There is no “secret formula”.  If it were easy, everyone would be doing it. We can’t promise you when, but hard work always pays off!
